Born in Bangladesh, raised in Toronto and then attending law school in Saskatoon, Ayendrila has now found her home in Calgary. Ayendrila completed her articles at a boutique law firm in Saskatoon specializing in all things family law. She has appeared at the Court of Queen’s Bench of Saskatchewan, attended mediations and pre-trial conferences and drafted legal arguments for all levels of court. In Calgary, she practised employment law and general civil litigation giving her a great experience in client- relationship management, legal research as well as knowledge about the litigation process.
Ayendrila aims to use a client-centred approach to provide practical solutions for her clients. She also believes in helping clients navigate through some of the most difficult times in their lives, hence she chose family law.
Ayendrila has also been heavily involved in her community throughout her career. She has hosted free legal clinics in Saskatchewan, been involved in Pro Bono Students Canada and was a Clinical Intensive Student at a clinic in Saskatoon representing low-income clients. Ayendrila is also an avid advocate for diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and brings a new perspective to her practise.
Prior to law school, Ayendrila obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies. Aside from law, Ayendrila is a professionally trained Indian Classical dancer. She lead the dance team at her College of Law and continues to dance at cultural events for her community. In her spare time, she likes to travel, explore new restaurants and spend time with her partner and their puppy, Peep.
